    I thought about addressing that in the post, actually – I kinda feel like “interwebs” has a few months left in it, so it might be a good transitional point while we find something new. Ditto “the tubes,” “intertubes,” “series of tubes,” etc.

    Not bad, Sonia! Or maybe even “This world wide web.” Which has a more “daytime-television-voiceover” ring to it.
